Transwestern Leads 200-Year-Old Nonprofit to Brooklyn Space

Transwestern Real Estate Services represented Graham Windham in a new, 6,000-square-foot lease at 25 Chapel St. in Brooklyn. Partners Lindsay Ornstein and Stephen Powers, executive managing director Arthur Skelskie, and senior associates Jake Cinti and Alexander Smith negotiated on behalf of Graham Windham, a family services agency founded by Eliza Hamilton more than 200 years ago.

The new Brooklyn office will house a group providing critical preventative services, which was funded through a contract with the City of New York. It’s expected to open this fall.

“The critical services that Graham Windham provides are even more important during this time of pandemic, when there is such tremendous and widespread need,” said Skelskie. “This lease shows that leasing and construction work is still being successfully completed in New York City, even if timelines stretch a bit longer.”

Building ownership 40 Flatbush Realty Associates was represented internally.
