Trammell Crow Residential Initiates First Bay Area MXU

Early Bird Alert: Connect Apartments is planned for September 28th in Los Angeles. Here’s where to get more information and register.

Trammell Crow Residential broke ground on Alexan Webster, its first mixed-use residential project in Northern California. The $135-million development features 234 units of luxury apartments, with 15,000 square feet of neighborhood-serving street-front retail on a former parking lot in Oakland’s Lake Merritt neighborhood.

Designed by KTGY, the 1.42-acre redevelopment project located at 2330 Webster St. represents a unique public/private partnership between the city and TCR, and is a culmination of more than four years of planning. Completion is slated for summer 2019.

Trammell Crow Residential’s Bruce Dorfman notes that the project is expected to play an important role in adding to the vibrancy of a walkable district, which is just a few blocks from a BART station and offers easy access to the Alameda-Contra Costa (AC) Transit bus route and I-580.
