Towneplace Suites Coming to The Rim

Tesh LLC is making plans to build a 119-key Towneplace Suites by Marriott at The Rim, San Antonio’s two-million-square-foot mixed-use project. The Edinburg, TX developer could break ground on the property at 17934 La Cantera Pkwy. as early as June 2018, with completion scheduled for June 2019. The estimated cost is $8.1 million.

Tesh principal Anil Uttamchandani told the San Antonio Business Journal that the project would be the company’s first in San Antonio, though he has developed multiple hotels across the Rio Grande Valley. The 4.3-acre plot on San Antonio’s far northwest side is perfect, he said, with “two major roadways meeting there.”

Boultinghouse Simpson Gates Architects is the architect of record.
