TMG Partners, Grosvenor Americas to Redevelop Presidio Heights Hospital Campus
TMG Partners and Grosvenor Americas plan to redevelop the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Presidio Heights campus in San Francisco. The campus will be transformed from a large-scale hospital to a thoughtfully-designed single residential project planned for 273 single family and multifamily homes.
TMG Partners’ Matt Field says, “We have a unique opportunity to partner with Grosvenor, a world class property company with a proven track record in developing extraordinary housing projects.” The goal, he notes, is to seamlessly “transition from the existing medical campus to a series of traditionally-designed buildings focused on family housing that has always been at the core of this neighborhood.”
The majority of the CPMC/Sutter Health hospital facility buildings will be demolished after its new hospital opens on Van Ness Avenue. The Marshall Hale building will be converted, the 401 Cherry apartment building will be retained, and new construction will entail up to 37 new buildings, parking and amenities.
