Tishman Speyer Tapped for Padres East Village Quarter Development

Tishman Speyer was selected to co-develop East Village Quarter, a new 5.4-acre mixed-use neighborhood that will adjoin and complement the Petco Park baseball stadium in San Diego. The Padres Development Team for Tailgate Park in Downtown’s East Village neighborhood also includes Ascendant Capital Partners.

San Diego Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer announced Wednesday the Tishman-Ascendant team won the competitive bidding process to transform four blocks with 1.35-million-square-feet of office, 612-units of residential and a 50,000-square-foot retail district, along with a 1,600-space parking structure.
