Staten Island will Get 330K-SF of New Offices at Corporate Commons Three
The Nicotra Group today announced the groundbreaking of Corporate Commons Three, a 330,000-square-foot office building on the Teleport Campus on the West Coast of Staten Island.
Medical office tenants will occupy 20% of the space at the new development. There will also be a charter school, spaces for adult education classes and a 40,000-square-foot organic rooftop farm with beehives. The grounds will include a vineyard. The building will also include a restaurant: Pienza, Pizza, Pasta & Porchetta.
“Corporate Commons Three will create more space for Staten Island businesses to expand and more opportunities for Staten Island residents to get good jobs,” said James Patchett, president and CEO of the city’s Economic Development Corp. (EDC).
The Teleport Campus began as a 1980s economic development project. EDC selected Nicotra to develop an 8.5-acre site at Teleport after a competitive process, and closed on the sale of the site to Nicotra this summer. Nicotra currently operates Corporate Commons One and Two at Teleport.
