Staffing Firm Upsizes with 83K SF in Move to Old Post Office

Recruitment and staffing firm TrueBlue, reported in October as being near a commitment to 601W Cos.’ Old Post Office redevelopment, has sealed the deal. The Tacoma, WA-based startup will relocate from its current space in Goose Island to 83,000 square feet at the 2.8-million-square-foot redevelopment.

“Having a long history of working with TrueBlue and seeing them go from a few thousand square feet to where they are today is a testament to their solid growth strategy,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Jack Keenan, who represented the tenant. “Not only will the Post Office location provide a state-of-the-art space and modern amenities, but will offer the company access to a rich talent-base in the Loop and West Loop areas.”

601W is represented in Old Post Office deals by an agency team from the Telos Group. In 2019, Cushman & Wakefield represented tenants AbelsonTaylor and 84.51 in their new leases at the property.

Connect Industrial Midwest is coming to Rosemont, IL on March 4. For more information, or to register, click here.
