Sprouts Market to Grow More Stores in 2017

Sprouts Farmers Market, headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, is continuing on a growth path in 2017. The natural-foods grocer will open 11 stores in Q2 2017; three California locations, and two locations each in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Colorado. Sprout’s ultimate goal is to open 35 stores in the coming year.

“As Sprouts continues to grow, we’re deeply invested in enhancing our operations and developing our team members so they can deliver the best experience possible for our guests,” stated Chief Operations Officer Dan Sanders.

According to the company website, Sprouts seeks build-to-suit or existing buildings in free-standing or shopping centers that are approximately 30,000 square feet. Also important is parking; real estate requirements include a minimum of 140 parking spots.
