Spire Printing Signs 62K-SF Industrial Lease in Peabody

Graphic designer Spire Printing signed a 62,000-square-foot industrial lease at 1 First Ave. in Peabody. Needham-based contractor Bowdoin Construction will convert the property into a printing facility for Spire.

Greg Klemmer, Tim Brodigan, Tim Allen and Dan Driscoll of Colliers represented the landlord, Novaya Ventures, in the transaction. To accommodate the block of space for Spire, Colliers advised Novaya through negotiations that helped enable the departure of an existing tenant three years prior to its lease termination.

“This deal reflects a true transition of traditional storage-based warehouse space to a state-of-the-art digital printing lab,” said Shawn Hawthorne, vice president of asset management at Novaya. “We are excited to complete construction and welcome Spire in late summer.”
