Spice Maker McCormick to Open 1.8M-SF Distribution Center Near Baltimore

American food company McCormick & Co. has announced plans to open a 1.8 million-square-foot distribution center in Metro Baltimore’s Sparrows Point. The new facility is approximately 12 miles south of the Port of Baltimore.

The Baltimore-based company, which produces flavor, seasonings and spices, signed a lease at the Tradepoint Atlantic Industrial Park. The facility will be the largest in the company’s portfolio. Several jobs and distribution warehouses are expected to be consolidated to the new location upon completion of the new facility, which is slated for the second half of 2022.

Additional tenants at Tradepoint Atlantic Industrial Park include Under Armour, Amazon and Perdue Foods. McCormick plans to host a groundbreaking ceremony at the site Nov. 12.
