Specialty Grocer Joins Tenant Mix at Repositioned Denville Center

HUDSON managing principal Jason Gerbsman has leased 12,000 square feet at Denville Commons to Corrado’s Market, which will anchor the Morris County Shopping Center at 3130 Rte. 10 West in Denville, NJ.

The new lease represents the culmination of a three-year turnaround for the 75,000-square-foot shopping center by HUDSON, which repositioned the asset with family-focused retailers. Corrado’s, a third generation Italian-specialty grocery chain that has been operating in New Jersey for more than 75 years, has four additional stores throughout the state.

Adds Gerbsman, “With a kids-themed, service-oriented roster of tenants now anchored by Corrado’s Market, we have created an ‘Amazon-proof’ shopping center. Virtually nothing offered at Denville Center can be done online.”

Gerbsman represented both the landlord, Denville Commons Associates, and the tenant for the transaction. A few spaces remain at the shopping center, and HUDSON is desiring high-end service-oriented concepts to round out the roster.
