Spec Office Breaking Ground at Bay Meadows
San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital and Wilson Meany are breaking ground on Station 2 at Bay Meadows in San Mateo, CA. The four-story, 189,000 square-foot speculative building is located at 2850 South Delaware St., adjacent to the Hillsdale Caltrain stop.
Station 2 is the third of five planned Class A office buildings at the 83-acre urban mixed-use village that includes residential, retail and 18 acres of parks and open space. Bay Meadows Stations 1 through 5, all designed by HOK Architects, comprise a total of 780,000 square feet of office space.
Station 2 is expected to be available for occupancy by year-end 2018. Among the office tenants so far at the transit-oriented project are SurveyMonkey, Ten-X and Zuora, with OpenText set to move in this fall. Newmark, Cornish & Carey’s Robert Garner, Jack Troedson and Josh Rowell are handling the leasing.
