Spec Industrial Planned Near Boeing’s Mesa Facility

Minneapolis-based The Opus Group plans to develop Longbow Gateway One, a 147,672-square-foot industrial facility in Mesa, AZ. The speculative project will be located in the 330-acre Longbow Business Park and Golf Club, with construction slated to begin this month, and delivery scheduled for January 2018.

Opus Development Company’s Sean Cummings says the Southeast Valley project is expected “to capitalize on the steady demand in the market from a variety of users. We are designing the building with maximum flexibility in mind to meet the needs of users of all sizes.”

Located at Higley Road and Longbow Parkway, the development is near Boeing Co.’s two-million-square-foot Apache attack helicopter manufacturing facility, as well as Falcon Field Airport. The facility will feature 32-foot clear heights, a fully secured truck court and 1,200 square feet of office space.

CBRE’s John Werstler and Cooper Fratt are handling the leasing assignment.
