Spear Street Brings Equiem Platform to Loop Tower

San Francisco-based Spear Street Capital has tapped leading global property technology company Equiem to roll out its tenant engagement platform at 225 W. Wacker Dr. in the Loop.

Spear Street acquired 225 W. Wacker this past spring for $210 million. The company has already deployed Equiem at select Class A properties in Philadelphia, Houston, London and Dublin. The agreement marks Equiem’s first foray into the Chicago market.

“Equiem’s platform provides an incredible experience for tenants, from virtual classes and events to discounts at local retailers, that creates a community and culture at the building–even while people are working from home,” said Matt Forsum, VP at Spear Street.

“In addition to being able to communicate directly with our tenants, Equiem’s robust data will give us a competitive edge, allowing us to make more informed decisions to help support our asset management and leasing strategies,” Forsum added.
