SpaceX Lands at Irvine Creative Property
SpaceX signed a five-year lease for nearly 8,000 square feet at Kelemen Caamaño Investments’ 96 Corporate Park, a three-story building in Irvine, CA. The Hawthorne, CA-based reusable-rocket company is making its first Orange County landing in a recently renovated creative office property.
The 30-year-old, 41,545-square-foot office building was acquired in 2015. Subsequently, the Irvine-based investors completed an eight-month, $4-million renovation campaign to transform the asset into an inspiring modern work environment that appeals to leading-edge companies.
Integrated design firm LPA created a unique state-of-the-art corporate facility, offering five different office space configurations, and an entrance that features a three-story, 3-D wood wall with live imported Italian green moss.
Irvine-based Wind Water Realty’s Rob Rader, Russ Smith and Travis Forster are handling the leasing and management of the property.
