Space Investment Launched by Mark Moshayedi, Ryan Gallagher
Mark Moshayedi and Ryan Gallagher joined forces to launch Space Investment Partners, an Irvine-based commercial real estate operating company. Moshayedi (above right) is a serial entrepreneur, while Gallagher (above left) spent the last eight and a half years at HFF, where he served as a senior managing director and co-head of the Orange County office.
David Hirsh, a former Blackstone executive, will also join, taking on the role of senior advisor.
Combined, the trio has more than 60 years of experience. They’ve represented the largest owners of real estate, completing more than $47 billion in transactions across office, retail, industrial, hotel and apartments throughout the U.S.
The fully-integrated real estate investment, development and management firm will seek to take advantage of the significant changes expected to impact commercial real estate over the next five to 10 years. That includes technology, demographics and migration patterns, which will affect every product type, including office, retail, industrial and multi-housing.
