South Atlanta Apartments Trade for $8M

Berkadia has arranged the $7.8 million sale of Arbor Gardens, a 102-unit, garden-style community in South Atlanta.

Located at 5503 Riverdale Road, Arbor Gardens was built in 1973 and features units with upgraded interiors. The property is nearby Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as well as the Delta Airlines Headquarters, Porsche North American Headquarters and Chick-fil-A Headquarters.

Matthew White, Paul Vetter, Andrew Mays and Judy MacManus of Berkadia’s Atlanta office represented the seller, a joint venture between Atlanta- based Atlantica and New York-based Auerbach Funds. The buyer was not disclosed. The deal closed on January 26.
