Small-Format Target Opens at Fifield’s Logan Square Project

A 27,000-square-foot small-format Target store has opened for business at Logan Apartments, the 220-unit mixed-use development at 2480-2252 N. Milwaukee Ave. in the North Side’s Logan Square neighborhood. The national retailer is the anchor for the project, which was co-developed by Fifield Cos. and Terraco Real Estate.

“The community has anxiously awaited the opening of Target,” said Lindsey Senn, EVP at Fifield. “Bringing a retailer like Target to an area underserved by stores that offer a robust selection of groceries and everyday essentials enhances the convenience of living in Logan Square for the residents at Logan Apartments and the neighborhood as a whole.”

A mix of other national and local stores and restaurants have also signed leases for the ground-floor retail space at Logan Apartments. They include Jeni’s Ice Cream, Pure Barre, Verizon, Aligned Modern Health and a new concept from one of Chicago’s leading restaurant groups.
