SL Green Lands Tenancies on West and East Sides

Ahead of closing on its $440-million acquisition of the Master Printers Building at 460 W. 34th St., SL Green Realty Corp. has signed First Republic Bank to anchor. The bank will occupy 211,521 square feet of office and retail space.

The acquisition marks SL Green’s entry into the Hudson Yards submarket on Manhattan’s Far West Side. The REIT plans a redevelopment.

JLL’s Frank Doyle, David Kleiner, Betsy Buckley and Ellen Grace represented First Republic. NKF’s Brian Waterman, Scott Klau and Eric Harris advised the landlord.

Across town, SL Green signed KPS Capital Partners to 28,024 square feet at under-construction One Vanderbilt, while McDermott Will & Emery expanded by 14,276 square feet to 129,489 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Mark Weiss and Alan Wildes represented KPS. NKF’s Moshe Sukenik and Noel Flagg represented McDermott. CBRE’s Robert Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Emily Jones and Alex D’Amario advised SL Green on both deals.
