Skokie Science-Tech Park is Full

The completion of two lease extensions and one new lease has rendered the Illinois Science + Technology Park in Skokie completely full. Owner American Landmark Properties is now looking toward developing Phase 2 of the project.

Vetter Pharma International USA and Charles River Laboratories International have extended their leases and added space. Northwestern University signed a new lease. Scott Brandwein and David Saad of CBRE are the leasing agents for the property.

The tech park lies on 24 acres and features research facilities, laboratories and offices. The first phase comprises three lab and office buildings at 4901 Searle Pkwy.

Now, American Landmark will focus on redeveloping an existing 130,000-square-foot building at 8030 Lamon Ave. Five other build-to-suit sites are available, adding up to 1.3 million square feet of space.
