Skanska to Build Nine-Story Office Tower in Arlington
Global development and construction firm Skanska has acquired a development site at 3901 North Fairfax Dr. in Arlington, VA and plans to develop a nine-story, 201,000-square-foot office building at the property. The sales price was not disclosed.
Once completed, the property will consists of 184,036 square feet of office space and 10,280 square feet of ground-floor retail. The free-standing building was designed by CallisonRTKL and will feature floor-to-ceiling windows on all four sides. Amenities at the building will include a 4,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop terrace with a 1,600-square-foot indoor amenity space, as well as a modern fitness facility.
Skanska acquired the development site from an investment affiliate of Bernstein Management Corp.
