SilverPoint Senior, Journey Capital to Invest & Develop Senior Housing

SilverPoint Senior Living a just-launched management company headquartered in New Braunfels, TX, is partnering with Dallas-based real estate development company Journey Capital to develop and invest in senior housing properties.

SilverPoint, founded and led by Shawn Corzine, will handle management of the future centers, while Journey Capital, headed by Anand Patel and Narayan Patel, will focus on growing a development and acquisition pipeline. SilverPoint is focused on senior living markets in Texas, but Corzine indicated he and his partners have strategic plans to expand outside the state.

The partners met in 2019, when the Patels enlisted Corzine to manage their first senior living acquisition in San Antonio, Grandview of Westover Hills.

“This is a natural partnership because we already share the same vision, and that’s to build best-in-class senior living communities,” Corzine said. “What makes it a smart partnership is the visibility we now have as a combined team with complementary expertise.”
