Shorenstein Fund Buys Sacramento Office Tower
JLL’s Capital Markets completed the sale of U.S. Bank Tower, a 366,000-square-foot office building at 621 Capitol Mall in Sacramento. The 25-story tower sold for a reported $161 million to a fund sponsored by San Francisco-based Shorenstein Properties.
The seller was a venture of well-known Sacramento developer David S. Taylor Interests and Britannia Pacific Properties. Taylor developed the Class A building in 2008 on Capital Mall, across the street from the Golden One Center, home to the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.
“621 Capitol Mall is one of highest caliber assets in Sacramento and the West Coast,” said JLL’s Rob Cole, who led the marketing effort with Rob Hielscher, Michel Seifer and Alan Stevenson. “David Taylor and his team have done a phenomenal job creating and maintaining a world-class asset.”
