Shearwater Cos. Acquires Two-Property Flex Portfolio in Taunton

Colliers arranged the $4.4-million sale of a two-property flex portfolio in Taunton. The properties are located at 520 and 540 Myles Standish Blvd., approximately 40 miles south of Boston.

Caleb Hudak, Ovar Osvold and Sean Hannigan of Colliers represented the seller, Rock Partners, in the transaction. The buyer was The Shearwater Cos., which saw the acquisition as a strategic addition to its existing portfolio in the area.

The properties, which total 35,000 square feet, are currently leased to Utz Quality Foods and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Revenue. The 540 Myles Standish Blvd. property underwent a complete renovation in 2011.
