Sephora Breaks Ground on 714K-SF Facility in North Las Vegas

Sephora broke ground on a 714,000-square-foot facility at Tropical Distribution Center in North Las Vegas. The 120-acre master-planned industrial park is being developed by Kansas City, MO-based VanTrust Real Estate, near Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“Sephora is the latest quality e-commerce company to select the North Las Vegas market,” said VanTrust’s Steve Backman. “Companies like Sephora are locating here because of the strong labor force and proximity to the large populations in Nevada and surrounding states.”

The world’s leading prestige beauty retailer plans to open its western distribution center in May 2019. Sephora’s new facility will create up to 400 projected new jobs.

Sephora’s building will consist of a 694,000-square-foot distribution center for retail locations and an e-commerce fulfillment center with direct shipping to consumers, as well as an attached 20,000-square-foot, single-story office.
