SENTRE Acquires Chula Vista Retail Center for $31M
San Diego-based SENTRE has acquired Bonita Point Plaza in Chula Vista, CA for $30.65 million. The 58,761-square-foot shopping center features 27 tenants including Rite Aid, Starbucks, Chipotle, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank and Navy Federal Credit Union.
“Bonita Point is a necessity-based retail opportunity with both drug and grocery anchors and an attractive and complementary food experience which serves both the adjacent student population and the local trade area,” said Doug Arthur, president and CEO of SENTRE.
SENTRE acquired the property from Sudberry Properties and was represented by Steve Avoyer and Brad Williams of Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate and John Still of Point Realty Advisors. Financing was arranged by CBRE’s Scott Peterson, Bill Chiles, Brian Cruz and Morgan Fraser.
Located at the intersection of 1451-1479 East H St. and 720-752 Otay Lakes Rd., the center enjoys solid fundamentals including 30,000 vehicle trips each day and Southwestern College’s 19,500 students.
