Seefried Industrial Delivers 640K-SF Distribution Center in Stone Mountain

Seefried Industrial Properties has delivered a new 640,000-square-foot distribution center for a global e-commerce tenant near Stone Mountain, GA.

The property, which was code named Project Rocket, stands over 70 feet tall and consists of nearly 3 million square feet of fulfillment space. The four-story building is outfitted with modern material handling and product retrieval systems designed for the e-commerce market. At full operations, the project is expected to create 1,000 jobs.

“We are proud to deliver (our tenant’s) first robotic fulfillment center in Gwinnett County and the state of Georgia,” said Greg Herren, COO at Seefried. “The completion of this project is exceptional in every way and is yet another testament to Seefried’s ability to deliver the most complex distribution and fulfillment buildings leveraging strong relationships with vendors and contactors.”
