Sears Taps Avison Young for 2.4M SF Disposition Assignment

Avison Young’s Florida Capital Markets Group has been exclusively retained by Sears to market and sell three department store sites and the largest distribution center in Florida. The disposition assignment encompasses more than 2.35 million square feet spread across four markets.

The listing includes a distribution center located in Ocala, and three department store sites in Daytona, Tampa, and Port Richey. All of the locations are fully occupied by Sears.

Avison Young’s Michael T. Fay, John K. Crotty, David Duckworth, Jay A. Ziv, Ray Hayhurst, Joshua Ladle and Brian de la Fé will lead the sales of the following properties across Florida:

– The 1,937,892-square-foot Sears Southeast Distribution Center at 655 SW 52nd Ave. in Ocala.
– The 152,542-square-foot Sears Volusia Mall location at 1700 W. International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona.
– The 123,790-square-foot Sears Westfield Citrus Park location at 7902 Citrus Park Town Center Blvd. and the 10,132-square-foot Sears Auto location at 13193 Citrus Park Town Center Blvd. in Tampa.
– The 126,336-square-foot Sears location at 9409 US Hwy 19 in Port Richey.

Avison Young’s Fay says, “Each property represents a unique opportunity in their distinct markets, including the distribution center which is the largest industrial building in Florida.”
