School of Rock Tunes Up for Second Brooklyn Location
School of Rock has signed a new 3,500-square-foot lease at 300 Graham Ave., a 25-unit condominium building in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood. It will be the music education chain’s second in the borough.
ABS Partners Real Estate’s Ben Waller represented 300 Graham owner Gloveman LLC in the transaction. Harry Safter of Jonathan Barry Associates acted on behalf of the tenant.
“With all of the rehearsal spaces, studios and live music venues in the area, School of Rock is a perfect fit for the neighborhood,” said Waller. “It is in a central location that serves Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick.”
Founded in Philadelphia as the Paul Green School of Rock Music in 1998, School of Rock is the world’s largest multi-location music school with 170-plus locations and tens of thousands of musicians going through its classes, workshops, camps and performance programs daily. Manhattan and Queens locations are slated to open later this year.
