SCAD Expands Atlanta Campus with Acquisition of Two Buildings in Midtown

The Savannah College of Art and Design has acquired two buildings, 1422 and 1430 West Peachtree, totaling nearly 100,000 square feet in Midtown Atlanta. The combined sales price for the properties was reported as being just over $20 million.

The John Marshall Law School sold 1422 West Peachtree, which consists of 67,000 square feet of office space as well as an adjacent 254-space parking deck at 1421 Spring Street. SCAD also purchased 32,000 square feet over three levels at 1430 West Peachtree from Architecture firm Greenberg Farrow.

Kirk Rich of Avison Young represented Greenberg Farrow Architects in the transaction, while Tim Holdroyd and Nik Hatzis of City Realty Advisors represented John Marshall Law School.
