Savanna/Hornig JV Scores Leasing Success with Mott Haven Project

A joint venture of Savanna and Hornig Capital Partners has leased over 40,000 square feet of space at the Bruckner Building in The Bronx’s Mott Haven neighborhood since introducing the repositioned property to the market a year ago. With leasing teams from Cushman & Wakefield and JRT Realty Group, the partnership has been successful in drawing a diverse array of office and light industrial tenants to the eight-story, 172,000-square-foot property.

More than half that leasing total, or 23,244 square feet, has been achieved in the first three months of 2018 alone. The most recent addition to the tenant roster is Lumiode Inc., a semiconductor technology startup that signed on for 8,645 square feet.

“We’ve been successful in attracting and accommodating tenants priced out of Manhattan, as well as longtime Bronx tenants seeking updated space and quality ownership and building management,” said Tom Farrell, managing director of Savanna.
