San Antonio Home Sales Remain at Record Highs

Home sales in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area remained at record highs in November 2019, increasing by 2% year over year. According to the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR), 2,448 homes sold in the region, at an average sales price of $263,723 and median sales price of 230,600. The month ended with 3.6 months of inventory available.

More than 58% of the houses sold were in the mid-range of $200,000 to $500,000. An additional 35.8% of the homes sold were priced under $200,000. “San Antonio and the surrounding area remain competitive for home buyers and sellers as we move into the new year. November reported over 10,000 active listings on the market, with over 3,000 new listings added to the market in November,” said Grant Lopez, SABOR’s 2019 Chairman of the Board.
