San Antonio CRE: What a Difference a Decade Makes

San Antonio’s office and industrial space net absorption dropped in Q1 2017, compared to Q1 2007. Meanwhile, asking rents are climbing, according to an infographic developed by NAI Partners. The eye-catching visual was created in honor of Fiesta, San Antonio’s largest festival, encompassing 10 days.

Dubbed as “A Party with a Purpose,” the original Fiesta consisted of a parade in 1891 that honored the memory of those lost in the battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto. These days, the event offers colorful marketplaces, cultural festivals, a carnival and band festival. The parade still takes place as well, and is one of several.

It’s estimated that Fiesta will add $284 million to San Antonio’s coffers in 2017.
