Saltchuk Resources Inc. inked a deal with California-based Hudson Pacific Properties for 91,357 square feet at the under-construction 450 Alaskan Way, in Seattle’s Pioneer Square.

Saltchuk, a transportation and distribution company, currently has space at 1111 Fairview Ave. N. The company opted to move to 450 Alaskan Way to accommodate long-term growth.

Hudson anticipates completing the eight-story, 167,000-square-foot, $93 million 450 Alaskan Way by the end of 2017.

The Los Angeles-based developer owns other buildings in Pioneer Square that total 665,376 square feet, known collectively as King Street Crossing.

David Abbott and Laura Ford of Colliers International are the brokers for 450 Alaskan Way and King Street Crossing.
