Ross Stores Takes Space at Charlotte’s LegacyPark West

A 431,035-square-foot lease was signed at a newly developed, Class A distribution facility within LegacyPark West, a master-planned, industrial business park in Rock Hill, SC, in the greater Charlotte market. The lease, reportedly with Ross Stores Inc., represents one of the largest industrial transactions in the Charlotte market in 2018.

Colliers International represented the tenant. Avison Young represented the ownership, Birmingham, AL-based Graham Commercial Properties, which acquired the property last year for $34 million.

The building at 365 E. Springdale Rd. was built in 2017 by a public-private partnership between the city of Rock Hill and Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties. Located roughly 25 miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, LegacyPark West includes three industrial buildings. Another 126,000-square-foot high-cube warehouse and distribution space is occupied by Elite Logistix.
