Rosemont-Headquartered IMO Leases Space Downtown

Newly-rebranded Savills has completed a 13,424-square-foot lease on behalf of Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) at the Inland Steel Building, 30 W. Monroe St. It’s a new downtown presence for the medical technology company, after relocating its headquarters from a WeWork space along State Street to suburban Rosemont.

The Inland Steel space represents the first permanent downtown office for IMO. The property was selected because of its unobstructed layout, deep floor areas, proximity to the Chicago Transit Authority’s blue line and access to IMO’s Rosemont headquarters.

Savills’ Jon Azulay and Robert Sevim advised IMO in the transaction, along with Adam Southard. Rich Dale and Loredana Perri of the firm’s project management services practice are overseeing office build-out and relocation.

“Tenants with dual locations in the suburbs and downtown has been a major trend,” said Sevim, a Connect Media Top Broker.

MBRE’s Mark Buth and Kelsey Morgan represented the owner, Capital Properties.
