ROEM Completes South Hills Crossing MF
Santa Clara, CA-based ROEM Corporation opened South Hills Crossing, a new affordable apartment community in San Luis Obispo, CA. The $14.1-million, 43-unit, development was completed in partnership with the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo (HASLO).
South Hills Crossing is available to families with annual incomes at or below 60% of the area’s median income. Designed by KTGY Architecture + Planning, the community consists of three buildings in a contemporary mix of urban-industrial and craftsman style architectures, featuring one, two and three-bedroom units.
ROEM Corp.’s Alex Sanchez notes the project addresses the community’s lack of affordable rental housing. “South Hills Crossing shows what can be done when a public sector collaborative and a for-profit developer work in partnership to begin solving a local problem such as housing affordability.”
Connect Apartments is right around the corner on September 15 at the JW Marriott, L.A. Live – don’t miss out, register today!
