Rockefeller Center Expands Outdoor Offerings for Summer

Tishman Speyer’s Rockefeller Center is presenting a number of exclusive outdoor dining, art, and retail experiences this summer, along with newly added seating throughout Rockefeller Plaza. Corresponding to New York City’s phased reopening, all of Rockefeller Center’s summer activations are outdoors and don’t require tickets, enabling enjoyment of seasonal offerings while maintaining social distancing.

“Even while adapting to these changing times in our city, Rockefeller Center can continue to be a favorite destination for culture, commerce, and community,” said EB Kelly, Tishman Speyer managing director, who oversees Rockefeller Center.

The newly introduced dining options include pop-ups from the Rainbow Room, Alidoro, Makina Café Truck and Other Half. Outdoor offerings are also available from City Winery, Ben & Jerry’s, Limani and Del Frisco’s Grille.

Rockefeller Center is offering three outdoor art installations this summer. There will also be more The Vend customized vending machines throughout the complex.
