Rock Group Holds Grand Opening of Piscataway Logistics Center

Local government officials, tenants and neighbors joined Rockefeller Group executives and staff recently in celebrating the official opening of Rockefeller Group Logistics Center in Piscataway, NJ. The 2.1-million-square-foot, master-planned industrial park repurposes a site formerly occupied by Union Carbide for nearly 80 years.

“This former brownfield site was considered a pioneering location, but we saw it as an opportunity to create new product in an older, overlooked market,” said Rockefeller Group’s Mark Shearer. “Today, this market is considered proven, and Piscataway and others along I-287 are, and will continue to, benefit.”

Shearer called the grand opening “a celebration of four years of collaboration between Piscataway, Middlesex County, the companies that have chosen to invest here and to become a part of this project, and all of our neighbors.”

Fully leased, the logistic center counts Best Buy, Fujitsu General, Humanscale, KISS Products, SHI and Kuehne + Nagel among its tenants.
