RM Friedland Launches Investment Sales Platform

CRE brokerage RM Friedland has launched an investment sales division. The Harrison, NY-based firm has named John Barrett (above) as managing director of the division. In addition, Marco Lala has been named SVP and is bringing Team Lala with him.

Both Barrett and Lala are veterans of Massey Knakal, with Barrett subsequently heading investment sales at Admiral Real Estate and Lala moving to Marcus & Millichap. Since 2005, Barrett has evaluated and marketed more than $950 million worth of investment real estate in the New York Metro area, while Lala (at left) has racked up as many as 70 seller-oriented building transactions in as little as 18 months.

RM Friedland president Sarah Jones-Maturo called the expansion into investment sales “an organic next step for our company. We are thrilled with the experience and expertise that John, Marco and Team Lala bring to the table.”
