Rich Walter, Pat Kent Join SRS Capital Markets Group

SRS welcomed two senior capital markets and investment sales professionals to its Newport Beach, CA office. Rich Walter joins as EVP of SRS’ Investment Properties Group, and Pat Kent comes on board as SVP of SRS’ Investment Properties Group.

SRS’ Chris Maguire says, “Rich and Pat joining SRS is a signal to our clients and the industry that we have doubled down on our efforts as leaders in the retail capital markets arena. As our investment capabilities have grown, our clients have benefited from the synergies and intelligence gathered across our tenant, landlord, and owner/investor services.”

Walter’s background in real estate investments and finance is expected to help build business relationships across the nation for the group and broader Capital Markets platform. He brings 44 years of CRE experience and more than $8 billion in career transactional volume. He most recently served at a fintech firm partially owned by BNY Mellon, where he was one of the chief architects in developing Bankassetpoint.com. He previously spent 12 years at Faris Lee Investments, where he served as president.

Kent will focus on both multi-tenant and single-tenant investment assets. He brings more than 19 years of experience as an investment properties specialist, most recently at Hanley Investments. He also has more than three decades of experience in real estate finance.

The pair’s arrival further strengthens the Newport Beach team’s overall presence, which includes representation of more than 10 million square feet of retail property, and 30 premier retailers throughout Southern California.
