RIA Relocates Offices to The Franklin

Brownson, Rehmus & Foxworth (BRF), a Chicago-based Registered Investment Advisor, has signed one of 2021’s first relocation leases in the CBD. Colliers International Chicago’s Tony Karmin and Corby Marx represented BRF in its new 11,318-square-foot lease at 227 W. Monroe St., a/k/a The Franklin.

“BRF chose The Franklin because it is centrally located and can easily accommodate employees and visitors alike, whether by train, bus or car,” said Marx. “The pandemic has allowed building owners to present very aggressive economics, but the building quality and amenity package was superior and in line with BRF’s needs.”

He added, “2020 was a tough year for Chicago’s downtown office market so we are glad 2021 is starting with a win-win—a win for our client and a win for the market. We hope this begins momentum for 2021 as phased return-to-work programs start to take place.”

Tishman Speyer’s Carey Spignese represented building ownership.
