Renowned Chef Takes Famed Bar Space
April 10, 2017
A world-class chef will open his latest restaurant on the site of a world-famous SoHo dive bar.
“For more than 30 years, Chef Pino Luongo has owned and operated a series of successful restaurants, most recently Morso, which has become a Sutton Place mainstay attracting A-listers such as Donna Karan, Henry Kissinger, and Jonathan Tisch,” said Eastern Consolidated’s James Famularo, which represented both the restaurant and the owner.
Until it closed in January 2014, 160 Prince St. was home to Milady’s (pictured), frequented over the years by celebrities including Madonna, Bruce Springstein, and Matthew Broderick. Yelp reviews still praise Milady’s chicken fingers and other bar food under $10.
Eastern Consolidated’s listing for the space asks $30,000 per month for 2,700 square feet. Renovations have already started on the new restaurant, scheduled to open in fall.
