Renovation Begins on 150K-SF Athletic Club

A multimillion dollar renovation has begun on the Met at The Downtown Clubs, at 340 W. Dallas St. in downtown Houston. The project is expected to wrap up by summer 2017.
Plans for the Met, which is in the Allen Center, include building a new bar, with local craft beer and a wine collection; and adding multiple workspaces, a golf simulator and new activity features. The renovation will also include an update of the juice bars and locker rooms.
In addition to the Met’s renovation, the Allen Center complex is also undergoing a major change. Owner Brookfield Property Partners LP announced a $48.5 million renovation to the property in 2016.
