Redesigned Petersen Automotive Museum Debuts

The Petersen Automotive Museum has undergone a $90-million renovation, and is now open to the public.

The museum was closed for 13 months during the redesign, which added 25 new galleries as well as other exterior improvements.

The new-look building closely resembles a hot rod, with its red exterior color and steel ribbons which emulate racing stripes. The bold design is being hailed by car enthusiasts as a must-see, and a true monument to the automobile.

The Peterson Automotive Museum is located on Wilshire Blvd., along Museum Row in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles.
