Raymond Sedey Promoted to McCarthy Holdings’ CEO
McCarthy Holdings veteran Raymond Sedey has been promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the company. Sedey will assume the position on Jan. 1, 2020, operating out of McCarthy’s Dallas office. The current CEO, Michael D. Bolen, will remain chairman of McCarthy’s board of directors.
Sedey is currently regional present of McCarthy’s Southern Region. He joined St. Louis-headquartered McCarthy in 2000 as a project engineer, and was promoted through roles including superintendent, project manager and director, vice president and executive vice president.
Sedey is actively involved in a variety of professional and community organizations, including the Dallas Regional Chamber, TEXO, American Heart Association, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Montana State University College of Engineering advisory board, to name a few.
Joe Jouvenal, another long-time McCarthy executive, will step into Sedey’s current job in January 2020. He, too, will work out of the Dallas office.
