PUMA Opens Doors to Fifth Avenue Flagship

PUMA opened the doors to its first-ever North American flagship store at SL Green Realty Corp.’s 609 Fifth Ave. The athletic apparel and footwear-maker leased the store, which features 18,000 square feet of interactive retail space, in May 2018.

“I believe investing in this new store—in one of the fastest-paced cities in the world—will help us in our pursuit to be the fastest sports brand in the world,” said PUMA CEO Bjorn Guelden. “We’re committed to pushing the boundaries of sports, fashion and technology, and this store is the latest manifestation of that commitment.”

The flagship store will carry the full range of PUMA products, along with exclusive collections designed by select brand ambassadors and athletes.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Steven Soutendijk, Michael O’Neill, Jason Greenstone, Alan Schmerzler and Sean Moran represented SL Green in the 2018 leasing deal. JLL’s Robert Gibson and Greg Covey represented PUMA.
