Principle Completes Full-Building Renovation
Principle Construction Corp. has completed a 162,014-square-foot tenant improvement project for Rex Carton at 7400 Richards Rd. in Bridgeview, IL. The 70-year-old corrugated packaging manufacturer is headquartered there, occupying the entire property, to which it relocated from the South Side of Chicago last year.
The building houses 153,351 square feet of warehouse space and 8,663 square feet of office. Principle completely renovated the office, demolishing and reconstructing the interior walls, ceiling grid, MEPRs, flooring and bathrooms. In the warehouse section of the building, the Principle team constructed a baler room with masonry walls consisting of a dock door and a man door.
Principle’s Darrin Dehmlow served as senior project manager for the improvements, assisted by new assistant project manager Jon Anderson, while Principle’s Dennis Crawford served as superintendent. A+M Architects LLC provided design services.
