Presidian Hotels Strikes Again, Buys Hilton San Antonio Airport

Presidian Hotels & Resorts acquired the 385-key Hilton San Antonio Airport from Broadshore Capital Partners, operating under the entity name of SAT Hotel Partners LLC. The acquisition is the San Antonio buyer’s second near the airport within the last six months. The locally-based Presidian Hotels acquired DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport from Westmont Hospitality Group in June 2019.

The Hilton San Antonio Airport at 611 N.W. Loop 410 delivered in the early 1980s, while the DoubleTree-branded hotel came online in the late 1970s. Presidian Destinations will manage both properties, with significant enhancements planned for the properties over the next year.

“This is a company that is investing in San Antonio,” Presidian Hotels & Resorts’ Charles Leddy told the San Antonio Business Journal, adding that the goal is to improve the service level at both properties. “We’ve already done that at the DoubleTree,” he added.
