Premier Design + Build Elevates Melone

Itasca, IL-based Premier Design + Build Group has promoted Mark Melone (above) to EVP, director of construction. Since joining Premier in 2006, Melone has led various project types to success nationwide, and was instrumental in establishing the company’s risk management program, as well as opening the Miami office.

“For more than a decade, Mark has consistently risen above our expectations,” said Premier president Alan Zocher. “He holds the Premier team to sky-high standards, and we are excited for Mark to take on the role of director of construction.”

The company has also hired Michael Long (right) as SVP, Midwest market leader. Most recently VP at Principle Construction Corp., Long has more than 30 years’ experience in a variety of building types, including industrial, commercial office, retail, educational and multi-use facilities.
